Client: Qore Performance — Knoxville-based manufacturer of advanced thermoregulation solutions for industrial safety, military, and high-heat environments.
Role: Marketing Manager & Lead Photographer (in-house).
Overview: Collaborated with a live construction company on a real-world site shoot to showcase the ICEVEST — a cooling vest designed to prevent heat exhaustion and heat-related injuries in extreme temperatures. We worked together for mutual benefit: capturing authentic visuals of the vest in action while the crew demonstrated daily operations.
Set up products on workers, documented them through heavy labor (lifting, climbing, concrete work), and shot photo/video across the site — highlighting how the vest's cooling tech keeps body temperature regulated, hydration flowing, and performance steady amid heat stress. No staged sets — just genuine industrial conditions to prove real safety impact.
The images and footage became key assets for product pages, safety campaigns, and industrial marketing, helping communicate the vest's life-saving value to construction teams and safety managers. It was a hot, dusty day on-site, but seeing the gear make a tangible difference for workers made it worthwhile.
